Creating a regional community of professional caregivers while unlocking the potential of Hong Kong’s vulnerable children
We know that when communities come together and commit to creating a loving network of care for their young, those children will thrive, their communities will benefit, and our world gets a little bit better.
We know this because, for over two decades, we have been training caregivers to provide loving, nurturing care to marginalised children so they can have an equal start in life. And we have seen the results. Our teachable approach transforms young lives.
Starting in China’s welfare institutions twenty years ago, we extended our trainings beyond teachers and nannies to reach at-risk communities and families in rural villages and factory zones. As the demand for our services grew, we developed online learning tools and expanded our capacity by teaching caregivers to train others through our Training of Trainers (TOT) program.
